Your role
You are interested in Investment Banking with a strong motivation to closely work with mid-sized Swiss corporations, entrepreneurs and private equity funds? You are fully committed and look for a steep learning curve?
Then we are looking for someone like you to:
- work closely with our investment banking professionals on the origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions with a focus on Swiss mid-sized companies across all sectors
- support the team on financial analyses and valuation exercises
- conduct research activities on markets and companies
- prepare marketing materials as well as sales documents (information memoranda, management presentations, etc.)
- assist the deal team on project coordination and various other process tasks

Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

Your team
You will join the leading Swiss Mid Market Investment Banking team. We are part of Switzerland’s #1 Investment Banking franchise with a long-standing track record of deal flow. We advise Swiss mid-sized corporations, entrepreneurs and private equity funds on their strategic development and financing activities, including M&A, debt and capital raisings as well as leveraged buyouts. You will be part of a forward-thinking team, whose team spirit and expertise guarantee an exciting working environment. We are collaborating closely with our Swiss corporate banking, private banking and our international network of industry experts, providing an optimal platform for collaboration and your development.
Your expertise
You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.
In particular, you have:
- sharp analytical and quantitative skills as well as critical thinking
- solid corporate finance knowledge of accounting and valuation techniques
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- time management skills and ability to combine working under pressure with close attention to details
- excellent academic track-record and proficiency in English and German, French is a clear advantage
- previous experience or familiarity with Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Consulting or related financial services
