Your role

We’re looking for summer interns like that to:
- get involved in Software Engineering projects with Java and other programming languages
- work with state-of-the-art Cloud solutions in an agile team setup
- solve complex problems in an agile environment
We invite aspiring software engineers to our 10-week summer internship, which provides an extraordinary exposure to technology in the financial services industry. Naturally, project details are commercially-sensitive but all our projects exhibit the following common features:
- significant engagement with product owners and user-interaction
- technical autonomy and innovation
- highly motivated and engaged development teams
- high quality and commercial benefits
You will work together with business users and members of the development team to provide quality systems that improve efficiency, decrease operational risk, enable the business to expand and make users smile.
Internship
Our 10-week summer internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.
From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team
You’ll be working in one of our teams in Zurich as part of the Group Operations and Technology Office. We are working in global teams and focusing on the agile way of working. We bring along a lot of enthusiasm and collaboration is our keyword. We are fully dedicated to support each other in reaching our quality goals.
Your expertise
You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months, preferably in computer science or a related MINT topic.
In particular you have:
- experience and interest in software engineering techniques
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
- a sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- good judgment when dealing with sensitive information
- the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
- fluency in English
