The Christmas season is just around the corner and with it comes the chance to not only make this special time festive, but also to use it wisely.


There are many opportunities for students to make productive use of the time without lessons and prepare for the challenges ahead.

  • Study and prepare for exams: Use the free time to prepare for your next exams, as they are coming up soon! You can go through course materials, create summaries or solve exercises. This allows you to prepare efficiently for the upcoming exams and the next semester.


  • Project work: If you are working on a longer project, such as a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, you can use the Christmas period to work intensively on the topic. Take advantage of the peace and quiet and the less distracting environment to concentrate fully on your work.


  • Find an internship: If you are looking for an internship for the coming year, the Christmas period could be a good opportunity to prepare your application documents and look for possible internships. Many companies plan in advance, so it makes sense to start your search early. Use the time to recover from the rigours of studying, celebrate with your family and meet up with friends. A good balance between work and relaxation is the key to a successful start to the new year!
