Your role
Are you an analytic thinker? Do you enjoy creating valuable insights with data? Can you build optimized big data transformations ? Do you want to implement global data solutions for Financial Crime Prevention use cases?
We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 GCRG Financial Crime Prevention Technology Internship Program.
You’ll get to:
- work on big data platforms such as Azure and Databricks handling gigabytes of data
- transform data from its raw format to suit our use case needs. Get exposed to the full ETL process
- optimize complex big data pipelines to reduce storage and compute resources footprint
- design, implement and deploy new ML models to perform data quality checks and data quality prediction
- work on and improve multiple AI models that enrich the data with classification and contextualization flags
- integrate your models with the existing data health check framework
- collaborate with teams across multiple locations, through pair programming and group projects, learning from senior engineers how to build robust, scalable products
- work closely with cross-functional team members to improve our digital products
Your team
You will be working in Lausanne in the newly set up Financial Crime Prevention Data Products team which is part of GCRG (Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance) Technology. Our mission is to build a standardized, complete, and easy-to-use suite of Data Products for the various Financial Crime Prevention applications / processes. Our team consists of talented Data Engineers, and Data Analysts who take pride in the quality of work that we deliver. As a data provider, we interact closely with our data consumers in business and in IT, as well as other cross-functional teams that enable us. You will be part of a significant digital transformation that our business area is going through and will have the opportunity to shape it with your experience.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has hands-on experience with high-level programming languages, particularly with Python
- has knowledge of ML algorithms
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program
This paid internship will last six months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
