Your role
Are you interested in getting to know the Global Real Assets (GRA) business within UBS Asset Management?
We are looking for a person who can work together with our operational and investment and risk specialists to streamline data and build front end reports that deliver key Risk and MIS (Management Information System) metrics and connect it with our wider ESG initiatives. You should be into slicing, dicing, structuring as well into the visualizing of data sets of our wider Real Asset Fund and Asset information.
We’re looking for someone like that to:
- coordinate and consolidate standard asset, performance & transaction data for reporting / MIS purposes
- structure data sets required for key and ad-hoc data requests for internal stakeholders
- help identify new ways of preparing and processing existing information and data
- collaborate across GRA functions (Business Management & Operations (BMO), Investment Specialists, ESG) on identifying new and existing data requirements
- support with structuring data visualizations and daily data requests from the business
Your team
You’ll be working in the Business Management & Operations area of the GRA team in Zurich. We are a central team of five people engaging in various activities ranging from regular business reviews, standard MIS and Asset reporting as well as engage in business & data project related work supporting GRAs Head of BMO and the wider business. We work autonomously and are dynamic as a team, but also encourage an open communication channel when it comes to collaboration and working as a team with our GRA and AM colleagues.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
- is gifted in using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
- a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products, preferably some initial experience with PowerBI
- excellent German and English (written and oral)
Start date: January 2026
Your program
This paid internship will last 6 months, where you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way.
