Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically as a wealth management professional serving clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world’s top financial institutions?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business, Chief of Staff (CoS) department.

You’ll get to:

  • prepare and manage the client nomination process for global flagship and VIP events
  • perform multi dimensional client data analysis to identify and select the most suitable clients
  • develop and maintain databases, tools and trackers used by the Client Office to monitor client activity and event impact, and to support senior management reporting
  • process and coordinate requests related to client strategy for all EMEA markets and top client coverage
  • initiate improvements in processes and efficiency related to data, reporting and request handling
  • support senior sponsorships and high profile client meetings, including preparation of briefings and follow up
  • contribute to the development of strategic business and client related plans and initiatives

Your team

You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Zurich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.

Our Client Excellence WM EMEA team manage Business Unit Head EMEA client senior sponsorships and client meetings. This includes strategy proposals & briefings based on client analysis and liaison to & from BU Head. As such we are the key coordination point for TCU clients including communication and data delivery. We track & report EMEA client activities into an array of Client review and Leadership/Management Forums for the BU.

In addition, we manage BU Head involvement with client events. We are responsible for the WM EMEA nomination process (NIR process) for GWM Signature Events which includes client analysis, selection, tracking, through liaison between BU Head - Sectors/Markets - Marketing - USG - GFIW Business Development, as well as client communication from BU Head.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • has excellent English (written and oral), fluency in German preferred
  • is proficient with MS Office tools, especially Excel with ability to effectively utilize these technologies to streamline processes, review databases, analyze data and enhance productivity of the Client Excellence team
  • has strong technical and data analysis skills, with proven ability to extract valuable insights from complex information
  • can effectively interact with clients, team members and stakeholders at different seniority levels
  • is fluent in English, both verbal and written. German and other languages are highly favourable and considered a significant asset
  • has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • has an autonomous and proactive working style, with an unwavering attention to detail
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program

This paid internship will last 3-6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
