Your role

Are you passionate about M&A and capital markets? Are you a strong team player with own initiative who likes to engage frequently with a wide range of clients and colleagues? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • prepare client presentations and other documents for both marketing/client coverage purposes and live transactions
  • perform bench-marking analyses, financial and valuation analyses and build corresponding models
  • work with senior bankers to help originate, structure and execute transactions
  • conduct in-depth data analysis to increase understanding of clients and tailoring solutions to clients’ needs

Your team

You’ll be working in the Strategic Transactions team in Zurich. We provide the full range of advisory and execution services for private and public mid- to large-cap companies in Switzerland and serve as the link into the Investment Bank. The product spectrum we offer to our clients includes mergers and acquisitions (buy- & sell-side, mergers, public tender offers, restructurings, spin-offs, valuations etc.), as well as debt and equity capital raisings (rights issues, capital increases, private placements, bond issues, hybrid financing instruments etc.)

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on business administration, banking and finance, economics or similar or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • strong analytical, quantitative and financial modelling skills
  • the ability stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
  • excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
  • high degree of professionalism as well as strong drive and commitment
  • fluent in German with excellent oral and written command in English
  • first relevant work experience through internships in Corporate Finance / M&A is a plus
