We are looking for a true partner and facilitator for our stores in German-speaking Switzerland.
This is a newly created position designed to strengthen our COR team. As our stores in German-speaking Switzerland expands, we need more dedicated, hands-on support for our stores. You will join the existing team, reporting to Alexis (Manager) and working closely alongside Nicolas and Patrick.
Your mission is to be hands-on and in the field (expect 2-3 travel days per week). You are the primary support system for our store network, responsible for listening to their needs, solving problems, and proactively helping them succeed. You will be the key link, driving excellence by training, coaching, and ensuring our operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with our business goals.
Your responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITY 1: Engage the stores to increase the operational excellence
- Ensure the implementation of standardized Decathlon in-store processes, aligned with the country’s priorities and strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness to increase the conversion rate
- Assist store directors and store operations managers in establishing an efficient in-store organization
- Support the decarbonization and guarantee that the waste management procedures are applied in store
- Guide store operations managers to optimize operational costs

Support the hours performance strategies
- People: NPS: Teammates availability; DTB pleasure at work; DTB I create human, environmental and economic value for the project
- Planet: % Recycling operational waste
- Business: Growth quantities/hour; Growth conversion rate; Affinity rate
RESPONSIBILITY 2: Guarantee store stock availability to maximize omnichannel customer satisfaction
- Animate stores to ensure the stock accuracy
- Closely collaborate with logistics and local supply to obtain the best product availability

Ensure the flows procedures reliability in order to boost the business
- People: % of store operation managers trained
- Planet: 100% inventory rate for Circular circular business models
- Business: Increase of freshness score; Decrease of cancelation of C&C 1h order; Decrease shrinkage rate; SLT of direct order
RESPONSIBILITY 3: Ensure people safety and asset security
- Accompany, support and ensure the daily implementation of the country and DECATHLON health and safety standards and adapt them locally if necessary.
- Conduct environmental analysis and establish, update risk mapping according to the local requirements
- Coordinate the undertaking of internal and external diagnosis, the handovers according to the Country’s safety standards, the monitoring of action plans and their implementation.
- Implement actions after the local risk analysis for protecting company assets
- Attend/Coordinate the local crisis management
- Collaborate closely with city/ regional directors and all the stakeholders (facility managers, HR, FP&A..) to address alerts, security needs, and safety adaptations.

Support and drive projects of change ( openings, closures, and downsizing processes), by identifying and mitigating their impacts on operations and safety
- People: Decrease of accidents; DTB; I feel psychologically safe in my working environment; I feel physically safe in my working environment; Number of sites in alert / Country safety Assessment or audit.
RESPONSIBILITY 4: Develop the autonomy and potential of my network
- Ensure the development of stores operations managers on each skill
- Train store directors, store operations managers and department managers to create an efficiency mindset
- Organize the regional network to foster strong collaboration, create synergy and improve mutualization
- Participate in the recruitment, nomination process, onboarding of new store operations managers
- Develop the external network
- Ensure regular collective and individual management adapted to the needs

Collaborate with services or across working groups to provide feedback on grassroots expectations.

Profil
We’re seeking a leader with strong operational skills and a proactive, “here to help” attitude.
Who we are looking for ?
- Languages:Native or C1 German (mandatory) plus B2 English or French.
- Experience: Proven retail operations experience. A background as a Store Leader is a major plus.
- Expertise: Knowledge of Swiss labor/safety legislation, crisis management, and stock/flow Management.
- Leadership: Skilled in change management and functional management (coaching, training, and developing others).
- Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, and a problem-solver with strong communication and prioritization skills.
