The Position
The Digital Content Intern supports the planning, creation, and coordination of content across Roche Diagnostics’ global platforms, including Lab Leaders, Healthcare Transformers, and diagnostics.roche.com. This role helps ensure smooth editorial workflows, manages calendars, supports content production, and assists with stakeholder coordination to keep publishing activities on track and participate in the strategic evolution of these platforms.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple teams. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with global content operations, platform management, and digital marketing in a regulated and fast-paced healthcare environment.
The opportunity
1. Editorial & Calendar Management
- Support the planning of content calendars for digital platforms such as Lab Leaders, Healthcare Transformers, and diagnostics.roche.com
- Coordinate with contributors to keep teams aligned on upcoming content, deadlines, and needs.
2. Content Production Support
- Assist with content sourcing, ideation, and basic drafting or editing (web articles, updates, platform pages).
- Coordinate with content owners to gather input, manage edits, and consolidate feedback.
- Prepare content for submission into internal approval workflows
- Support non-promotional content processes and help manage speaker waivers when needed.
3. Platform Operations & Updates
- Support the migration of content into new copywriting templates and structures during platform updates.
- Help maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across published pages.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing managers, content owners, platform leads, and designers.
- Help prepare summaries, updates, or check-ins for weekly team meetings.
Provide general administrative and coordination support for cross-functional projects.
5. Additional Support Tasks
- Assist with newsletters, affiliate calendars, social media posts, and general communications.
- Help track and organize requests that come through shared mailboxes or ad-hoc channels.
Who you are
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Interest in digital content, healthcare communication, and web publishing.
- Experience with content writing and editing for web channels is a strong plus
Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills (written & verbal) in English.
- Ability to learn new tools and systems (CMS experience is a plus).
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.

Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 12 months.
Part-time employment is not possible.
It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.
The application deadline isJanuary 31st. Interviews will take place in late January and early February.
