Imagine yourself wearing two key hats: Works and Maintenance. Each year, we open around 8 new stores, and in a few years, we’ll be maintaining a network of 60 stores! It’s a big job, but also a golden opportunity to contribute to Decathlon’s growth and shine in Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

1. Works Coordination

• Provide the Expansion Manager with feasibility study elements (costs, macro-planning) for project validation.
• Ensure that developers adhere to Decathlon’s standard specifications.
• Validate permit application documents to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Oversee the preparation of tender documents by contractors in line with specifications and costs.
• Manage tender processes, select contractors, and sign contracts independently.
• Ensure project execution meets timelines, allowing stores to open on schedule.
• Supervise project closures.

2. Maintenance Management

• Implement preventive maintenance systems to ensure optimal store performance.
• Efficiently manage maintenance contracts, routine diagnostics, and service providers.
• Oversee multi-year investment plans to maintain high-quality facilities.
• Provide maintenance expertise to stores, including insurance claims and issue resolution.
• Train and empower on-site teams.

• Develop energy diagnostics and sustainability solutions. Your KPIs :

• Timeliness: Deliver projects on schedule.
• Quality: Meet concept requirements, construction regulations, and legal obligations.
• Cost: Stay within the approved budget and effectively communicate deviations.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to Swiss regulations and Decathlon policies.
• Technical Documentation: Ensure all maintenance and energy management contracts are signed.
• Preventive Maintenance: Achieve a high percentage of mandatory maintenance contracts signed.
• Budget Execution: Meet spending objectives for safety, image, and comfort.
• Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high satisfaction rates among store operators and service providers.

Profil

Who you are

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in store development.
• Strong technical curiosity and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Autonomous, organized, and a strong communicator.
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
• Multilingual: Fluent in German and English (required); French is a big plus!

• Location: Decathlon Switzerland - Zurich or Bussigny (regular travel to stores required).
