Your role

Interested in working financial services, and have an interest in software development but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Technology Graduate Talent Program.

You’ll get to:

  • gain hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development, working on critical banking applications within a scrum team
  • collaborate with product owners and team members to design and implement effective solutions for Wealth Management
  • develop backend services using modern frameworks and tools, ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing code
  • build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using the latest frontend technologies
  • troubleshoot and support applications in all technical aspects, ensuring quality and speed in delivery
  • embrace continuous learning by exploring modern technologies, modernizing development processes, and improving your skills in areas like automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native development

Your team

You will be part of the Wealth Management Chief Digital and Information Office organization, working within a global product and software development team. The team is responsible for delivering a suite of IT services and products on the global Wealth Management platform. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the globe, including APAC and Europe, in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date
  • has a keen interest in both backend and frontend development, with some experience in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • is familiar with modern development tools and processes (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing).
  • has a desire to continuously learn and grow professionally, staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18-months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of commercial strategies and opportunities for UBS. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
