Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically as a wealth management professional serving clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world’s top financial institutions?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business.

You’ll get to:

  • implement and train several state-of-the-art generative AI models using financial data
  • benchmark them against traditional risk simulation methods
  • evaluate models in terms of both statistical similarity and task-specific performance (e.g., CVaR accuracy),
  • investigate and propose suitable evaluation metrics for time-series generators
  • collaborate with different teams on strategic projects with a goal of improving our client experience and driving engagement
  • build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to effectively meet the needs of our clients
  • develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
  • attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business

The objective for this internship is to develop and evaluate generative models for simulation of financial time series, with a focus on Conditional Value-at-Risk (CVaR) estimation. This project explores recent machine learning-based approaches for generative time-series modeling, such as:

  • generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and their variants (e.g., Conditional GANs, Tail‑GAN)
  • variational Autoencoders (VAEs) designed for sequential data (e.g., Time‑VAE, causal VAEs)
  • Diffusion Models with embedded factor structures (potentially)
