The opportunity

You will join a collaborative engineering team working on high‑performance semiconductor devices. In this master thesis, you will explore the feasibility of a new dynamic test at die level and contribute to a project with real industrial relevance. You will learn from experienced engineers, gain hands‑on insight into advanced testing technologies, and influence future production workflows. How you’ll make an impact

  • Understand the IGBT device structure and its electrical behavior
  • Learn all production processes related to electrical testing
  • Familiarize yourself with the full dynamic test setup and tools
  • Analyze dynamic test data and identify trends and anomalies
  • Document measurement procedures and results clearly and accurately
  • Identify and eliminate errors in test sequences or hardware setups
  • Develop and refine the dynamic test process with engineering teams
  • Contribute to strong teamwork and transparent communication

Your background

  • Enrolled in a master’s program in electrical engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of semiconductors and statistics
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Solid communication and project‑management abilities
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Motivated, structured, and eager to work in a team‑oriented environment
