The Summer Internship Programme is a is a chance to explore your interests, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on real projects.
As part of the Business Management team in Singapore, the individual will embark on a dynamic 8-12 week programme combining day-to-day business activities and challenging projects. The individual will benefit from getting exposure to the opportunities and challenges of the wealth management industry.

The Summer Internship - GPS Business Manager reports to Head of Business Management (Asia & Middle East).
YOUR CHALLENGE
People management
- Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment
- Build highly impactful relationships with global and regional stakeholders across functions in the Bank
Client management (internal & external)
- Provide business support to various GPS teams.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal to ensure smooth execution of business operations
Business management
- Support the team’s strategic objectives and operational goals, driving business outcomes and results
- Identify opportunities to enhance functional efficiency and productivity, proposing process improvements and workflow optimisations, where relevant/appropriate
Regulatory responsibilities &/or risk management
- Meet all legal, regulatory, and compliance standards/requirements
- Adhere to the standards and expectations outlined in the relevant user manuals and guidelines
- Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviours including, but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

- Good judgement and ability to work under pressure
Professional & technical
- Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme from the second year of study onwards, or pursuing a Master’s degree
- Good command of financial analytical skills
- Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and a broad understanding of the financial markets and products
