Your role

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business and IT? Are you ready to take part of a large strategic innovation initiative? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • Be part of an agile digital factory with the chance to experience innovative and agile methods and to design and execute the bank’s strategic initiative
  • Do business requirement analysis for a Global Financial Planning Platform
  • Understand and document complex business requirements in close collaboration with our business partner and Technology
  • Transfer the business requirements to Technology responsible for the software development in on-shore and near-shore locations

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 24 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Financial Planning Platform IT team in Zurich. We are an experienced delivery team of about 50 people. We work very close together and support each other to achieve our ambitious goals. All our software requirement specifications are well structured and featured with all details from a business and technology point of view. Our software products are state of the art from a client experience and technology point of view and have to fulfill very high standards for client facing advise.
The financial markets are complex, varied and ever changing - and technology is an integral part of the way they work. For you, working in our technology function means challenge, innovation, variety and a chance to work with the latest developments in IT as they happen.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in an IT related field. In particular, you have:

  • a strong interest in technology
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in specifying and designing technology driven products or similar
  • sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a structured work style, confident working autonomously
  • excellent English and a good knowledge of German skills (written and oral)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
