Responsibilities & Profile

Your contribution to KPMG

  • Providing consulting service to clients, assist with ERP configuration and in implementing and/or redesigning of VAT processes
  • Workflow management, working on indirect tax compliance related process simplifications
  • Analyze existing processes and challenge the status quo
  • Advise national and international companies on indirect tax aspects of reorganizations, supply chain operations as well as financial and operational transformations
  • Support and advise our clients in the areas of indirect tax compliance, tax accounting and tax function transformation
  • Consider national and international tax law in your work
  • Work with teams from other divisions, departments and with foreign (KPMG?) colleagues
  • Communicate directly with clients and tax authorities

This is what makes you successful

  • Bachelor or master’s degree
  • Ideally first work experience in a similar field
  • Proficient English skills, German is a big plus
  • Know How in Business Analytics
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office applications; knowledge of data analytics software like Alteryx or Knime considered as an advantage
  • Flair for numbers and passion for technology, economics and international processes
  • Courageous as well as resilient and open-minded personality
