Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products is the globally recognized specialist in energy transmission and distribution. The service unit is responsible for worldwide after-sales support of Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) systems and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), including training, installation, commissioning, maintenance, additional services, troubleshooting, expansions, modifications, and replacements.
Service is the key to success. As a colleague in our globally operating service team, you will appreciate independent, varied, and solution-oriented work. After comprehensive, practical training in Switzerland, you will work as a product specialist, conducting GCB commissioning and maintenance tasks worldwide. Your role:
- Lead multicultural service projects for GCB power plants worldwide, ranging from 20MW to 1600MW.
- Ensure the timely execution of on-site installations and maintenance.
- Conduct product training directly with customers on-site.
- Identify and minimize risks.
- Coordinate labor resources and provide instructions.
- Manage resource costs and regularly report to project management.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and on-site efficiency enhancements.
Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship in metal construction, electrical, or automotive industry.
- Basic electrical knowledge is essential, additional technical or commercial qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, experience in site management is beneficial.
- Good English skills (at least B2 level), knowledge of German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 80%).
