Your role

Do you want to dive into project management and experience large, cross-functional implementation projects? Do you want to learn how financial institutions manage transformation and respond to regulatory requirements? Are you a self-starter, fast at understanding new concepts and easy to work with? We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • learn how banks manage all aspects of large scale, highly complex initiatives including planning, execution, coordination and early identification of possible risks and dependencies
  • understand how to identify and manage all different types of stakeholders, evaluate their interests and ensure effective stakeholder management and engagement
  • support the coordination of a workstream, including progress reporting, risk and dependencies identification and management
  • help the team resolve key project questions, conflicts or dependencies and report their outcome to stakeholders
  • actively participate in and support the team tasks and projects

Graduate Talent Program
Our Graduate Talent Program (GTP) lasts 18 months. You’ll be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of our business.

As well as on-the-job learning, you’ll get training on the financial markets, our products and other core business topics. Rotational assignments are a key part of the program. By taking on other roles in related departments, you’ll gain a wider perspective.

Besides all that, you’ll attend networking events, cross-business classes and social occasions where you’ll get to know us.

Your team

You will be working in the Group Risk Control (GRC) Initiative management (IM) in Zurich, a dynamic and driven team of professionals. The GRC IM CoE provides critical business support with enhanced Program and Project execution capabilities to drive our most complex and crucial initiatives. The team supports all business divisions and functions of UBS.

Your expertise

You need to have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • excellent communication skills as well as sharp analytical and problem solving skills
  • ideally, know-how gained from experience (or internship) in Project Management, Consulting or in the Financial Services industry
  • a self-starter mentality and a structured working style, and are confident working autonomously
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person and team player), and like to work in a fast-paced, international environment
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products
  • professional fluency in English, German is a plus
