Accounts payable specialist - Fixed-term contract until end of June 2026 New

Aufgabe

Decathlon Switzerland is growing fast (+49 stores, ~450M€ GMV end of 2025). To support this growth, we are creating a position for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in our Geneva or Bussigny office.

As a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist, you will support country stakeholders and ensure the smooth execution of the Order-to-Pay process, reporting directly to the Accounting Leader.

Key responsibilities

• You will ensure the Order-to-Pay process runs smoothly and efficiently across the organization:
• Process and monitor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee data accuracy and smooth operations.
• Prepare and share regular reports (weekly/monthly) to support decision-making and process improvement.
• Support supplier master data management to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Monitor and resolve blocked payments to ensure smooth payment flows.

Profil

What we are looking for ?

• Fluency in French and English (C1) is essential; German is a strong plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Order-to-Pay / Accounts Payable process.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
• Proactive and able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Hands-on and focused on action. Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and navigates comfortably in a multicultural setting.
• Autonomous, responsible, and adaptable to change.
• Enthusiastic, positive, and forward-looking. You view challenges as opportunities for progress.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling using tools like Google Sheets or Board; interest in new technologies (AI) is a plus.
• Passionate about sports
