Intern for Electromagnetic Simulation Team (f/m/d) New

About the Position

As part of the global Multiphysics Simulation (GLOMUS) team, this internship focuses on benchmarking a finite-element method (FEM)-based simulation tool to calculate the short-circuit impedance of distribution transformers.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory
  • Basic knowledge of transformer design and operation
  • Familiarity with finite-element method simulations, preferably using Ansys Maxwell
  • Basic proficiency in Python
  • Understanding of databases

Your background

  • currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team enviroment
  • Good communication skills in English and German
