The Position

The Analytical Development and Quality Control department, located in Basel, is an integral component of how we innovate healthcare through the invention of differentiated medicines for treating diseases of current unmet medical need.

The Opportunity:

  • Planning and executing experiments, sample preparations and measurements of critical quality attributes
  • Analysis and comprehensive documentation of performed experiments and developed methods
  • Support in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) method development and validation for quantification of excipients and related activities

Who You Are:

You are enrolled at a university in a Master’s program (or completed your Master’s degree within 12 months before the start date) within Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields. You are motivated to increase and share your theoretical and practical knowledge on this emerging and exciting field of Benchtop NMR. You are an enthusiast of new technologies, and you easily show engagement with people.

Moreover, you are/have:

  • Experience in NMR spectroscopy; or alternatively experience in HPLC analytics
  • Driven, responsible, proactive and open to work in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage, but not required

The preferred start date of the internship is April 2026 with a duration of 12 months.
