In the Grid Integration Service Solutions team, we are at the forefront of the digital revolution: through digital services, we enable our customers to increase the reliability of their assets and systems while optimizing costs. For our innovative R&D team in Baden, we are looking for an intern or MSc thesis student who helps us build the software that drives this revolution and supports us for 6 to 12 months. Your responsibilities
- Work with a senior R&D staff member on exciting and challenging tasks in the area of software engineering, software architecture, testing, cloud computing, and digitalization
- Develop concepts, document them, implement them, and test and validate them
- Set up environments for scientific experiments, collect data, and evaluate and interpret the results
Your background
- Officially enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency with several of these technologies, tools, and methods: .NET, Javascript, UML, databases, microservices, cloud computing, middleware (e.g. Kafka), edge computing
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory, any other language skills are a benefit
- Good communication and technical writing skills
- Experience with software and systems architecture or industrial software development processes are advantageous
