Internship in GIS Technology Development 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity
Join a passionate and collaborative team driving innovation in high-voltage technology. You will support exciting GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) product development projects and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment. This internship of at least 6 months offers the chance to grow your technical and analytical skills while contributing to real-world solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
- Support type tests (high power, high voltage, high current, mechanical, environmental etc.) in GIS development projects
- Organize, prepare, attend and document test activities
- Evaluate test results using tools like Excel, LabVIEW or Python
- Develop and improve test evaluation tools
- Collaborate in development projects and daily operations
- Contribute to solving short-term technical challenges
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting
Your background
- Completed bachelor studies in electrical, mechanical engineering or physics
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Creative and solution-focused mindset
- Good English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
- Comfortable in a multicultural, multidisciplinary setting
- Basic programming skills or willingness to learn (Excel, LabVIEW, Python)
