Your role

Are you motivated to deliver exceptional services to your clients? Do you feel comfortable approaching and working with different people? We are looking for someone with these attributes to support us in the organization of client events and conferences - with the following responsibilities:

  • securing venues, hotel rooms, limousine transfers and flights
  • overlooking the invitation process including creation of invitations
  • update and manage attendee lists
  • follow-up procedures including billing process
  • interacting with internal and external clients and suppliers
  • supporting senior project managers and running own projects
  • onsite support of various events
  • various administration tasks

Your team

You’ll be working with other client event marketing specialists for the UBS Investment Bank Switzerland in Opfikon. We are responsible for client events and conferences which we organize and adapt depending on business needs due to the current market environment. Our aim is to ensure that we deliver the optimum service around logistics and communication to our external and internal clients, allowing our clients to concentrate their time and energy on the business meetings.

Your experience and skills

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree. In particular, you have:

  • excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
  • strong organizational skills
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • commercial or marketing background as an asset
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • excellent German and English (written and oral)
  • a good command of Microsoft Office and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
