Your role
Did you already made first experience in IT Security ?Are you an innovative, active, structured and flexible person ? If yes, we are looking for someone like that to:
- Support our Security Teams in monitoring, analyzing Security - Events
- Introduce / adapt existing Security Products in the area of Unix, AIX, AS400 and Mainframe z/OS
- Analyze and supporting in fixing found, existing security leaks
- Analyze and Risk Assessment from parts of our existing access Infrastructure
- Give us your external view about our existing Base tool infrastructure
- Develop optimization proposals
Our 3-6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in IT Infrastructure for financial institution.
From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the IT business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team
You’ll be working in Infrastructure Enterprise Core Services. In Zürich-Altstetten. We are responsible for the Operation from the Mainframe and Midrange Services for UBS. This contains IBM Mainframe and Midrange Power Computing Systems. Our Team delivers the End to End Service from Engineering up to the System Operation.
Your expertise
You need have completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree. In particular, you have:
- good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
- a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
- a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
- know-how gained from experience (or internship) in the area of IT Security
But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:
- analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- plan, organize and communicate well
- make things happen
- stick with a task
- work in a team
- come up with ideas
