Your role

Are you a great at getting the word out? Do you know how to talk to all kinds of different people? We’re looking for someone like this to:

-support content development and distribution
-support implementation of a Brand Journalism content strategy and agenda
-manage content projects with Media Partners
-act as a consultant to internal stakeholders
-support Social Media marketing activities on various Social Media channels (paid and owned)
-organize trainings and events in Digital Marketing and Brand Journalism
-support development of new measurement capabilities
-provide guidance to marketing stakeholders in campaign analysis and reporting activities
-investigate, check and evaluate new technologies and trends in digital marketing

Internship
A 6 months internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance. From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team
You’ll be working within the Brand Journalism team that combines editorial content creation with the core elements of strategic PR and marketing communications, extending and shaping UBS’s brand presence in the digital space. As a leader in global wealth management, investment banking and asset management, our firm aspires to become a trusted source for thought leadership, economic insight and various passion fields that we share with our clients. With Brand Journalism we bring our global reach and deep experience to bear, in contemporary formats and channels, building brand recognition and attracting new target groups.

Brand Journalism is part of the Brand Management team. We support brand and sponsorship campaigns, consult marketing colleagues from all divisions in their digital marketing and content activities. In cooperation with Digital Marketing and Social Media we drive testing and implementation of new digital trends (e.g. Multi-Channel Distribution, POE, Data Visualization).

Requirements

Your experience and skills
You need to be in your advanced studies at a University or University of Applied Sciences, preferably in Marketing/Communication and have not yet completed your master’s. In particular, you have:

-strong interest and first experience in new media and digital marketing
-practical experience in Social Media
-excellent German and English skills (written and oral)
-profound MS Office skills
-a flexible, team-oriented and cooperative personality
-open, flexible and highly motivated personality
-a structured work style, confident working autonomously

Starting Date: mid February, 2017
Duration: 6 months
