Your role

Do you want to participate in organizational development shaping the bank’s activities and strategy? Are you interested in discovering the Business Divisions of the bank by working in different projects? Do you want to join a diverse team with different backgrounds and nationalities? Are you keen working in a challenging environment interacting with many stakeholders? Are you ready to be regularly exposed to topics which are at the top of the regulatory agenda?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • develop rigorous cross-functional analysis in an autonomous manner, investigate aspects of the Group’s structural set-up and / or develop select structural review in relation to key entities
  • assist in monitoring regulatory framework impacting the Group’s legal structure globally and, where required, conduct impact assessment considering all necessary internal and external dimensions
  • contribute to solutions design and support decision-making processes at senior management level by providing thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • prepare content in alignment with divisional / functional / regional experts and take operative design and implementation decisions where necessary
  • preparation of senior level presentations and meetings

Your team

You’ll be working in the Corporate Structure & Governance team in Zürich, interacting with key stakeholders to identify and understand pressure points / optimisation opportunities in the regions based on the current operating model (business, regulatory, financial, efficiency, etc.). We focus on developing the bank’s corporate governance standards and oversee the continuous evolution of the corporate legal structure. The team works closely with our top management and continuously assesses potential changes, around the globe, to the structure in response to commercial, regulatory or legal aspects.

Your experience and skills

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • preferably a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or engineering
  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in the financial industry or consulting
  • an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
  • proficient command of English is required (spoken and written)

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas
