Your role

To support our High Net Worth (HNW) Latin America Desks in Zurich or Geneva we are looking for a summer intern currently completing his/her Bachelor’s or Master’s degree who can support the front desks. Your key tasks include:

  • supporting Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, Sales staff as well as assistants in daily execution of client requests
  • processing administrative tasks
  • conducting data analysis to support business management or sales initiatives
  • supporting risk related tasks
  • assisting in developing tailor-made solutions for our clients (e.g. creation of investment proposals)
  • preparation of client meetings and business trips
  • deputizing Client Advisor Assistants in our team
  • any other administrative business

Internship
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the High Net Worth Latin America Market in Zurich or Geneva.

Your experience and skills

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus on business administration, banking and finance, economics or similar and have not yet completed your master’s degree.

In particular, you have:

  • good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • a proven record of working well with others in a diverse setting
  • basic knowledge of the financial market and corresponding products
  • know-how gained from experience (or internship) in the banking industry or similar
  • excellent German and English (written and oral)
  • a good command of Microsoft Word and Excel

But we’d like to also see evidence that you can:

  • analyze a problem, take a view and come to a decision
  • plan, organize and communicate well
  • make things happen
  • stick with a task
  • work in a team
  • come up with ideas

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
