Your role

Are you interested in working on the trading floor of an investment bank? Are you a motivated self-starter who is ready to go the extra mile?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

• Collaborate with GM WM CAS FX Sales team colleagues in advising UBS client advisors on Foreign Exchange (FX) and Precious Metals (PM) solutions.
• Assist in pricing and execution of FX and PM product shelf like: Spot, Swaps, Forwards, Non Deliverable Forwards, Standard Options, Exotic Options and Structured products
• Support sales force by writing sales papers, trading ideas, presentations and preparation of client meetings
• Create product recommendations to clients who seek returns or to mitigate risk by investing into FX/PM as a separate asset class.
• Arrange FX/PM Order process management (Limits, Options and Structured Products)

Your team

You will be working in the GM Wealth Management (WM) FX CAS Distribution team in Opfikon or Zurich-Altstetten. Together with your WM FX CAS colleagues, you`ll be working closely with UBS WM Client Advisors in Switzerland and across the global UBS network.
The team act as product and advisory experts and as the intelligent filter of market information: Providing FX/PM investment, trading and hedging solutions to UBS Wealth Management Client Advisor and their end clients in a portfolio context and aligned to the CIO view.

Your expertise

You need have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

• fluency in English
• an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
• an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
• excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
• a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)

Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
