Your tasks

• Your tasks will be to assist in state-of-the-art model development and deployment both as stand-alone applications and/or web services.
• You will be working and designing prediction pipelines for various companies and industries across Switzerland, from medical devices to financial platforms.
• You are involved in a variety of projects and are responsible for data analysis in various areas, such as working for companies within the pharmaceutical and life science area, financial services and the public sector.
• You will work closely with colleagues from different areas, develop tailor-made solutions and discuss them with the customer.
• You support the team in internal development and can actively participate in the design and development of our business ideas.
• You develop your technical know-how and your soft skills through targeted courses and seminars.
• You work in a diversified team in an international network.

Your profile

• You have proven interest and experience in data science and/or machine learning, especially in model productionization.
• You have at least 3+years experience developing robust and reliable applications in Java, front-end development with JavaFX would be a nice addition.
• You have excellent database and SQL / data analysis skills
• You have a very broad range of development, testing and system administration / operation skills (you’ll know some subset of the following: Spring, REST, JavaScript, Angular, React, RedHat Linux, Ansible, Splunk, MQSeries, Swift messaging, Windows System Administration, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence)
• You are fluent in English, a good knowledge of German is an asset.
